Hike to Jaun in the shade of the trees along the banks of the river Jogne, after which the valley is named.
Jaun, the only German-speaking village in La Gruyère, has a number of points of interest, like the waterfall, the cemetery with its carved wooden crosses and houses typical of the region.
If you get hungry while hiking, you have the option of making a small detour to the mountain bistro Buvette les Invouettes.
