Start on Route du Pré de l'Essert ( Google Maps location).
This route follows the northern slopes of the Vounetz mountain. With a bit of elevation, you can admire the Javro valley and the slopes of La Berra. Step by step, you reach the alpine pastures of Poyet Riond and Tissineva.
Your effort is rewarded at the summit of Vounetz, where the Dents-Vertes restaurant welcomes you every day as well as on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
The ascent is marked in green. The yellow downhill route is ungroomed and can be used at night.
